CO Lawmakers Halt Plans for Permanent Fence at Capitol

The Colorado Legislature has halted plans to build permanent fencing around most of the state Capitol following criticism from residents. Lawmakers previously considered allocating more than $1 million to erect a six-foot-tall (1.8-meter-tall), wrought-iron black fence to encircle the building, The Denver Post reported Monday. High School Sports Competition Resuming in Colorado

School districts across Colorado may still be struggling with when to resume in-person classes, but high school sports competition started up again on Thursday after a 22-week pause because of the coronavirus crisis. High school golfers from across the metro area gathered at Wellshire Golf Course in Denver to tee off in what Gov.
